Frequently Asked Questions
How do cohorts work at HorizonVector Collective?
Cohorts group learners in start dates with weekly rituals: kickoff, demos, and critique circles. You’ll complete project milestones with mentor feedback and peer accountability in a friendly environment.
What is the difference between self-paced and live formats?
Self-paced tracks offer flexible timing with on-demand materials and async feedback. Live or cohort formats include scheduled sessions, team activities, and deadlines to keep momentum.
Do you provide certificates?
Yes. Upon successful completion of required assignments and assessments, you’ll receive a digital certificate you can share on your profile or CV.
What equipment or software do I need?
A computer with reliable internet access and modern browser. Specific tools depend on the course (e.g., spreadsheets, code editor, or Figma). We list requirements in each course description.
How much time should I plan per week?
Most learners budget 5–8 hours per week. You can scale up or down depending on your schedule and whether you’re in a cohort or self-paced track.
Can I get a refund if plans change?
Fees are generally non-refundable after access begins. If a cohort is rescheduled, you may request a seat in a later session. See the Terms for details.
Do you offer scholarships?
We offer limited scholarships and sliding-scale seats in selected cohorts, prioritized for underrepresented groups and new time zones. Check course pages or contact us.
How do I pick the right course?
Use our catalog filters for category, level, and format. If you’re unsure, reach out via the contact form for a quick mentor recommendation based on your background and goals.
What support is available during the course?
Mentor office hours, peer review rooms, community Q&A threads, and feedback on projects. We aim for actionable responses within two business days.
